Remember the leaked launcher from upcoming Nexus Pixel smartphones? Well, it has been reamed to Pixel Launcher by Google now — in line with the name of its upcoming smartphones. And it is now available for download.

The launcher does not really add anything new to the mix except for some minor enhancements. It still looks largely the same as the previously leaked launcher, which was then known as the Nexus launcher. The app drawer button is gone and you now access it via  swipe-up gesture. You also get the new Google pill at the top left corner instead of a search bar, while the other end now sports a non-removable calendar widget. The calendar icon is now also dynamic and shows the current date.
