Review: The New Galaxy Note 7 is Samsung’s Best Creation and Why You Must Buy It

Today Samsung is in a much better position in the smartphone market than it was a few years ago when it provided features like gesture sensing and extensive camera modes in unattractive plastic bodies. But with the upcoming release of the new Galaxy Note 7, it has provided something that is a sharp contrast to the smartphones it provided before, and infact better than an iPhone.

Earlier, the Note series was seen as an oversized, bulky alternative to an iPhone. But that’s not what the Note 7 is.  And even with an eye-popping $850 price tag (on sale August 19), it’s worth every penny if you want the best.

Here are some of its eye-catching specifications which will undoubtedly woo you into buying it:

It’s a beauty!
Samsung has perfected every aspect of its phone design with the Note 7. Although Apple is the leader in great smartphone designs, Samsung is now beginning to rise beyond it in this department.

Even though the Note 7 has a slightly larger screen (5.7 inches versus the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus), it is significantly smaller than the iPhone 6 Plus, making it feel much more comfortable in your pocket and even better in your hand.

Another unique feature of the Note 7 is that it’s made from two identical pieces of curved glass fused together with a metal band. It’s perfectly symmetrical, making it feel thinner and lighter than it actually is.

The Tech Talk – All You Need to Know About Biochips

By the definition of Wikipedia “Biochips are essentially miniaturized laboratories that can perform hundreds or thousands of simultaneous biochemical reactions. Biochips enable researchers to quickly screen large numbers of biological analyses for a variety of purposes, from disease diagnosis to detection of bio terrorism agents”.Typically a biochip has a surface area of not more than a fingernail.

In addition to genetic applications, the biochip is being used in Toxicological, Protein, biochemical research and rapidly detect chemical agents used in biological warfare so that defensive measures can be taken.

The structure of Biochips mainly consists of two parts Transponder and Reader or Scanner. Microarray techniques are used for the production of biosensors to enable Simultaneous multi analyse analysis of specific markers. A biosensor is an analytical device that uses a bio detector to perceive a target analyse directly, without the need for complex specimen processing

. Attachment of the target analyse to the biosensor creates a biochemical reaction, which is converted to an electrical signal by a transducer, quantified and displayed on a conventional screen. Biosensors may be classified according to their target molecules.

If we talk about the view of industry towards this blooming technology, it can be very much summed up as follows:

Texe Marrs, Project L.U.C.I.D.

“Will the implantable biochip, linked in with L.U.C.I.D. worldwide control net, become the basis for the mysterious, but diabolical, Mark of the Beast? It seems possible, even likely, that this will prove to be the case.” (Texe Marrs, Project L.U.C.I.D. p.113)Betty.

Murder of UC Berkeley Student Solved 24 Years Later

Twenty-four years after the death of a Filipina American student at UC Berkeley, police have finally solved her murder.

UC Berkeley police believe Grace Asuncion, a 20-year-old pre-med student, was stabbed to death in February 1992 by John Iwed, who died from a drug overdose in 1993.

Iwed was a suspect early in the investigation, but police were not able to gather the evidence needed to convict him of the murder. Police did not say why they focused on him initially but did say he had no affiliation with the university and did not know Asuncion.
UC Berkeley police Sgt. Sabrina Reich said in a release last week that the case is considered closed. She said police are “confident we had identified the right person.”

The Alameda County district attorney’s office reviewed the case, but prosecutors could not file charges because Iwed succumbed to a drug overdose nearly a year after Asuncion was found dead, according to Reich.

Police informed Asuncion’s family in July of the new evidence, said her older brother John Asuncion in Agoura Hills, California

“It was a surprise, as you can imagine,” John Asuncion, 47, told the Los Angeles Times. “It opened up the old wounds, of course. Speaking for myself, I had accepted — it is what it is. A cold case.”

Before his death, Iwed had confessed to his wife that he attacked and killed Asuncion while high on psychedelic drugs, KTVU-TV reported. His wife later told police, but detectives could not verify the account.

Grace Asuncion, a resident of Agoura Hills, California, who was majoring in molecular and cell biology, was stabbed multiple times Feb. 7, 1992,  in the offices of the student group, Pilipino American Alliance. Reports at the time said she often stayed after hours to do her homework in the fifth floor office.
