Samsung had earlier listed the 2016 versions of its Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 smartphones on its Chinese website. However, there were no word on the price and availability of the two handsets so far.
Now, the official Samsung Korea website has announced the prices of both the samrtphones. The new Galaxy J5 is priced at KRW 290,000 and the J7 costs KRW 363,000. This translates to approximately Rs 16,889 and Rs 21,138 respectively, excluding local taxes. Samsung is yet to make both the smartphones official in India.

The smartphone is powered by an octa-core processor running at 1.6GHz, backed by 3GB RAM. It comes with 16GB internal storage and supports microSD cards of up to 128GB capacities.
